On April 8, two main events of the green industry opened their doors at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana — the XII International Exhibition of Floriculture and Green Industry Flora Expo Astana 2025 and the International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for Growing Plants Grow Expo Astana 2025.
Exhibitors
This year, the exhibitions has brought together a record number of exhibitors: over 200 companies from 20 countries, including Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, China, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Switzerland, Ecuador, South Korea, and Japan. This once again reinforces Kazakhstan's status as a key business hub for professionals in floriculture, landscaping, and agritechnologies in Central Asia.
Flora Expo Astana, now in its 12th edition, remains the largest specialized exhibition in the region, covering floriculture, landscaping, gardening, landscape design, urban improvement, and countryside development.
Last year, the "Greenhouse and Greenhouse Technologies" section attracted such high interest from exhibitors and visitors that in 2025, it has been separated into a standalone exhibition — Grow Expo Astana. This exhibition showcases a full range of greenhouse solutions, including structures, automation, climate control systems, lighting, irrigation, plant protection, and nutrition.
Special attention is drawn to the Netherlands Pavilion, which has become the largest in the history of these exhibitions. Over 40 companies have been presenting their cutting-edge developments, technologies, and plant varieties.
The Dutch Greenhouse Delta greenhouse platform has served as an important liaison for an intergovernmental meeting between representatives of Kazakhstan and the Netherlands. The Dutch delegation is be led by Jan-Kees Goet, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security, and Nature, while Kazakhstan is represented by Azat Sultanov, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
