Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azat Sultanov and CEO of the Dutch company REKA B.V. Eric Egberts agreed to cooperate during an official meeting. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was held within the framework of the visit of the Kazakh delegation to the Netherlands, aimed at strengthening cooperation in the agricultural sector. It should be noted that REKA B.V. has been operating in the Kazakh market since 2016, specializing in the production of natural coatings for seeds and plant protection products. In 2020, the company began developing a special plant nutrition concept based on its products.
The main topic of the negotiations was the start of production of biofertilizers and plant protection products in Kazakhstan. REKA confirmed its intention to launch production in the first quarter of 2025, with further volume increases in line with market needs. The project is aimed at improving the environmental sustainability and efficiency of agricultural production in the country.
REKA's cooperation with the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan was also discussed. The company expressed interest in joint scientific research and professional development programs for Kazakhstani specialists, which will contribute to the transfer of best practices.
In addition, the parties considered the prospects of creating a joint venture between REKA, Hanseplant and Kazakhstani partners. The company's goal will be to introduce innovative agricultural technologies and strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
